Summer 2026 Workshops

Unleash your creativity in our joyful Blooming Canvas mixed-media workshop, where painting meets the beauty of fresh flowers!

In this hands-on 2.5-hour session, you’ll paint a stunning background on a quality canvas and then design your own unique 3D floral arrangement using vibrant, fresh-picked blooms. Whether you create a realistic vase illusion, an abstract botanical masterpiece, or something meditative, your finished piece will be a living work of art bursting with color and texture.

What’s Included:

• All materials: canvas, acrylic paints, brushes, and a U-Pick flower selection of fresh flowers & greenery.  All flowers not used on the canvas may be taken home by the participant.
• Step-by-step guidance from an experienced instructor
• Techniques for painting backgrounds, attaching flowers, and adding texture
• A take-home masterpiece + preservation tips
• Light snacks and beverages

Perfect for beginners and experienced artists alike.  Child (8-14yo) and Adult workshops available.  Ideal for parent and child activity, date nights, girls’ get-togethers, team-building, or a mindful creative escape. No experience necessary!

Child workshop (8-14yo). July 29th and Aug 11th from 9-11:30am.

• All child participants must be accompanied and assisted by an adult (>18yo).
• Two canvas design choices will be available for the child to paint or they may draw and paint their own creation.
• One 12oz slushie or water and popcorn will be served.

Adult workshop (>15yo).  Aug 13th from 6-8:30pm.

• All participants 15-17yo must be accompanied by an adult.
• Canvas design examples will be provided for participants to self-sketch and paint.
• Cloer Family Vineyards will provide wine beverages and NC sourced charcuterie snack options for sale.  One glass of wine, water, or soda and popcorn is included in the workshop price.

Duration: 2.5 hours Price: $70 per person.  For the child workshop, the price includes child and adult doing 1 canvas.  For the adult workshop, you may add a guest/workshop helper to work on the same canvas for $20.

Join us for a delightful Fall Floral Workshop at our scenic farm, where creativity blooms! Participants will wander through our vibrant fields to hand-pick their own seasonal flowers, crafting a unique autumnal arrangement. Instead of a traditional vase, you'll use a charming pumpkin cookie jar to showcase your floral masterpiece, adding a cozy, festive touch. This workshop is perfect for a girls' afternoon out, a special mother-daughter bonding experience, or a fun date for couples.    

*Note:  Our U-pick flower field starts to slow down in the fall so some colors and varieties may be limited.

In this immersive 2-hour workshop, you’ll capture the fall beauty with:

• Balanced Heights: Place taller branches like dogwood in the middle, with staggered blooms around for a natural flow.

• Freshness Tips: Trim stems at an angle and change the water every two days to maintain vibrancy.

Enjoy a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere while choosing a glass of wine from Cloer Vineyard selection. You’re welcome to bring outside food to enjoy but Cloer also have mini charcuterie board for purchase with NC products such as cheeses, salamis, cheese straws, cookies, peanuts and much more.

• Participants should be no less than 14 years old.  Those 14-17 years old need to be accompanied by an adult.
